About Coach Stewart

Daniel StewartDaniel Stewart has been a successful international trainer and instructor for over 25 years.  In addition to the US, he’s trained riders in Spain, Portugal, Canada, Mexico, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Greece and the West Indies.  From 2000 to 2006 he coached riders on several US Equestrian Teams to success at World Championships, World Equestrian Games and Olympics.  As the internationally acclaimed author of “Ride Right” he’s widely considered one of the world’s leading experts on equestrian sport psychology, biomechanics, and athletics.  He teaches clinics and seminars to thousands of riders each year and is the popular guest speaker at many national and international conventions such as USEA Annual Meeting, USPC National Convention, Equine Affaire, World Horse Expo, AQHA, NAHRA, CHA, NAHRA and the International Equestrian Festival.

Coach Stewart has been the subject of numerous magazine and newspaper articles and is a regular presenter on the Horse Radio Network as their equestrian sport psychology and performance expert. Coach Stewart lived in Andalusia Spain until recently however now resides in Naples FL where he’s hard at work writing his second book on Equestrian Sport Psychology. He has also recently launched three online equestrian sport psychology programs so that riders from around the world can attend his online seminars or speak with him live via webcam to discuss how to control the stress, pressure, nerves and show jitters so often associated with riding and showing.
